Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds of lean ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp matzo meal
- 1.5 cups ketchup
- 2 cups ginger-ale
Preparation
Step 1
Mix dry ingredients, garlic and egg together.
Step 2
Combine mixture with ground beef. Mix thoroughly.
Step 3
Roll mixture into balls of desired size.
Step 4
Add ketchup and ginger-ale into large pot and add meatballs to pot.
Step 5
Simmer for 2 hours. Do not stir.
