Ingredients

  • 1kg Lamb chops
  • 1tblsp red ginger masala
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1tsp ground Dhania
  • 1tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp ground Jeeroo
  • ½ tsp fine black pepper
  • ¼ tap arad
  • ¼ cup water.
  • Batter
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1 small onion grated
  • 1 small tomato grated
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tblsp tal (sesame seeds)
  • ½ tsp fine red chillies
  • 2 tblsps freshly chopped greens
  • Water as required.

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all the ingredients together in a pot and cook over medium heat adding more water if necessary until chops are tender.
Allow to cool

Step 2

Mix all the ingredients for the batter together in a bowl and mix well, adding just enough water to form a batter of medium consistency.

Step 3

Dip the chops in the batter and shallow fry in a non stick frying pan until golden brown on both sides.
