Ingredients

  • ½ cup castor sugar
  • 2 tblsp butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbslp apricot jam
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • SAUCE
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup Ultra Mel Custard

Preparation

Step 1

•Cream castor sugar, butter and egg well.

•Add in the apricot jam and mix well.

•Then add in the flour, salt and milk.

•Mix the vinegar and bicarb together and add to above mixture and mix well.

Step 2

•Pour into a greased oven proof dish and bake for 30 to 40 minutes on 180c./ 350•f

Step 3

•In a saucepan on medium,
Melt the ingredients for the sauce.

• pour sauce over the pudding as soon as it comes out of the oven.

Step 4

Serve warm or cold, with whipped cream and additional sauce.

Garnish with chocolate Curls
