Ingredients

  • 250g Paneer
  • 2 cups tomato purée
  • 1/2 cup thick cream
  • 1 cubed onion
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic
  • 1 tsp dhana Jeeru
  • 1/2 tsp tumeri
  • 1 tsp red chillies
  • 1 tsp cashew nut paste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt- to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Cube paneer into bite size pieces.
In a skillet, over medium heat, stir fry paneer (with or without butter) until golden on all sides.
Remove from heat

Step 2

Soak paneer in hot water to keep the paneer soft and to develope flavour. For half hour, and then drain.

Step 3

Meanwhile....
Heat butter, fry onions. Add ginger garlic and stir fry for a minute.
Add masalas, cashews and tomato purée, until oil leaves the mixture.

Step 4

Add paneer and cream and cook for a few more minutes.

Remove from heat, garnish with chopped coriander and serve with naan rotees.
