Ingredients
- 50g broccoli florets
- 20g chopped Swiss chard
- 85g peas
- 15g fresh spinach
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1
Place a sieve over a saucepan that is half filled with water.
Cover with a pot lid and bring the water to the boil over high heat.
Arrange the broccoli and Swiss chard in the sieve, put the pot lid back on and steam for 5 minutes.
Add the peas, spinach and garlic.
When all the vegetables are tender, remove and keep about 125ml of water to the side.
Step 2
Put the vegetables, hot water and a bit of citrus juice into a blender and pulse until it is a smooth, soft and delicious puree for baby.
Step 3
Cool before serving.
The puree is freezable and will last up to 2 weeks.
