Ingredients
- 150 grams of margarine
- 230 grams of sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- half a teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 200 grams of dark chocolate
- 3 tablespoons water
- 125 grams of ground almonds
- 125 grams of cookies, minced
- For the frosting:
- 375 grams of powdered sugar
- 4 tablespoons of water
- rum
- 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Preparation
Step 1
Mix the margarine until creamy and add sugar, egg yolks, salt, vanilla, chocolate dissolved in water, almonds, crushed cookies and egg whites. Bake and let cool.
Step 2
For the icing - mix powdered sugar, water and rum. Set aside two tablespoons of frosting ready and add remaining 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder. With this chocolate icing to cover the whole cake.
Step 3
With the remaining frosting (the white one) form circles over the chocolate icing and draw with the tip of a knife lines working from the center outward.
