Ingredients
- 1 liter of mineral or filtered water
- 1 lime or lemon
- 1 cm of ginger root
- 12 fresh mint leaves
- 1 whole cucumber
Preparation
Step 1
Decide on your recipient: a mason jar, water jug or pitcher...
Step 2
Wash the vegetables. Cut the lime and the cucumber into thin slices and add to your pitcher.
Step 3
Grate the ginger and add it as well.
Step 4
Add the fresh mint and give it a good stir. Pour the water on top.
Step 5
Cover and refrigerate. Let steep overnight in the fridge.
Step 6
The next day, get rid of all the pieces and save only the water. Enjoy with a straw throughout the day or first thing in the morning.
