Low-Carb Flax Crust Pizza
I decided to get creative in the kitchen & see if I could come up with my own low-carb pizza creation – and it worked!! Who would have thunk?! This pizza is not only delicious, but it’s low-carb, keto friendly, gluten-free, & no added sugar. Oh, & you can eat the WHOLE pizza for just under 400 calories!!
Ingredients
- Crust:
- 4 large egg whites
- 3 Tbsp ground flaxseed meal
- 5 drops liquid Stevia (optional sweetener)
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- dash sea salt (or salt)
- 1/4 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Toppings:
- 1/4 c tomato sauce with Italian herbs
- 1/3 c pizza blend cheese
- approx. 1/4 c green bell pepper, chopped (about 26 g)
- Pepperoni (about 14 slices)
- dash of oregano
- dash of italian seasoning

Preparation
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 410 degrees F.
In a 9″ metal cake/pie pan, combine egg whites with sweetener, then whisk together. Add in the salt, garlic powder, parsley, & flaxseed meal. Whisk well.
Whisk in the baking powder, then set aside & let it sit for about a minute or two so the baking powder can activate & “fluff” up a bit.
Step 2
Place in the oven for about 10 minutes. It’ll be done when the edges pull away from the sides & look slightly browned or crisp & the crust will be fairly flat.
Remove the crust from the oven & top the crust with the tomato sauce, cheese, veggies, pepperoni, & seasonings.
Step 3
Turn the broiler on & place the pizza under the broiler for about 7-8 minutes, until it gets slightly crisp looking & starts to bubble up a bit.
Remove pizza from oven, let cool slightly, then slice & enjoy!
Chef Tips and Tricks
This Gluten-Free Broccoli Pizza is original, healthy and super tasty!
ingredients
- 1 head broccoli
- 1 egg
- 1 ¾ cups of your favorite shredded cheese (we recommend two types- 1 cup of one, ¾ cup of the other)
- 1 cup tomato sauce (or canned crushed tomatoes)
- ¾ cup shredded cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- 9 slices coppa ham
METHOD
- Cut the broccoli and boil until soft.
- Place the broccoli in a blender.
- In a bowl, add an egg and ¾ cup of shredded cheese, mix until solid.
- Form a ball and roll it flat on an oven tray.
- Bake in the oven for 20 min at 350° F.
- Once out of the oven, spread the tomato sauce evenly on the broccoli crust.
- Layer 1 cup of shredded cheese.
- Place a layer of Coppa ham.
- Top off with of grated Parmesan cheese.
- Slide it back into the oven until the cheese melts.
- Serve!
