Ingredients
- 10oz Whole milk
- 8 oz water
- 4.25 oz Masa flour
- .75 tsp salt
- .25 tsp black pepper
- 1.5 oz cotija cheese
- 1.5 tsp honey
- 1 oz butter, diced
Preparation
Step 1
Heat milk, water, butter and honey to a simmer.
Step 2
Mix masa and cotija
Step 3
Add liquid and knead/mix until dough starts to form
Step 4
Let rest for 3-5 mins, until dough firms enough to shape 5 inch disks. Griddle or pan fry until golden brown and crisp.
