Black Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Black beans
  • 1 white onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 can of tomato sauce or diced tomato (1 jar of salsa)
  • 15oz cups water or chicken broth
  • 1 juice of lime
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 Red Bell pepper
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt per taste

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onions, red pepper, and garlic cloves in olive oil 3-5 minutes.

Step 2

Combine black beans, tomato sauce/diced tomato's, lime juice, Chili Pepper, Cumin, Salt, Worcestershire sauce, & chicken broth

Step 3

Bring to boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Puree about 1/2 and remix
