Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 4 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 3/4 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

Whisk together all dry ingredients, and add the yolks to the mixture.

Step 2

Put the whites in a separate bowl and beat until stiff.

Step 3

Add the milk, vanilla, and melted butter to the flour mixture and mix well. Fold in the egg whites.

Step 4

Fill waffle maker 1/2 full and cook until golden brown.
