Ingredients
- 1 qt buttermil
- 2 cups white flour
- 2 cups rye flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup dark syrup
- 2 eggs - beaten
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 5 tsp anise seed
Preparation
Step 1
1 lb hamburger & 1 lb pork sausage - fry this until almost done, drain grease and add to mix. If you wish to bake them all this way - or the old way (meat in center) - it’s up to you
