Ingredients
- 1 8 oz pkg lasagna noodles (9 noodles)
- 1 # ground beef
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 16 oz small curd cottage cheese
- 9 oz cheddar, shredded
- 12 oz mozzarella, shredded.
Preparation
Step 1
Cook noodles in stockpot, according to package directions, minus 2 or 3 minutes; drain; rinse with cold water to halt cooking.
Step 2
Brown beef in skillet; drain. Add spaghetti sauce and heat through.
Step 3
In a bowl, combine cottage and cheddar cheese.
Step 4
In a lasagna pan:1st-layer 3 noodles; 2nd-1/2 of the meat sauce;3rd-half of the cheese mixture; 4th 1/2 c mozzarella.
Step 5
Next, layer 3 noodles; remaining cheese mixture, 1/2 c mozzarella.
Step 6
Then, layer last 3 noodles, cover with remaining meat sauce, and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
Step 7
Cover with foil. Bake at 375 for 35 minutes. Remove foil. Bake another 10 minutes. Let sit 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
