Ingredients
- 1/2 cup TVP**
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- baking soda & salt
- 1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients and drop equal size amounts on a cookie sheet. Bake for about 10 mins, until golden.
**NOTE: TVP=textured vegetable protein (found at most health food stores or online). You could try to substitute with cooked quinoa or millet, and I've also heard lentils may work, but I have not tried these methods, so I cannot vouch for them. The research I've done concludes that these foods absorb the liquid in the recipe similar to the TVP. Maybe I'll give those a shot too and see what happens!
