Grammy Morrill's Chex Mix

Grammy in NH made this for me when I was a kid. She called it Garbage cause it had so many different things in it.
Here's a recipe that runs in the family!
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup butter
- 1 1/4 Tsp salt
- 1 Tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tsp onion powder
- 1/2 Tsp chili powder
- 1 Cup mixed nuts
- 4 1/2 Tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 Tsp Hot pepper sauce
- 2 Cups Corn chex
- 2 Cups Rice chex
- 4 more cups your choice of Life or Cheerios or Honeycomb
- 1 Cup Pretzels

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 250 degrees
Step 2
Melt butter in microwave.
Step 3
Stir spices and sauces into melted butter
Step 4
Put cereal and nuts and pretzels into a deep cookie sheet and drizzle butter mixture over it. Mix until evenly coated.
Step 5
Heat in oven for 1 hour stirring up every 15 minutes.
Makes approximately 10 cups.

Chef Tips and Tricks
These quick and easy chicken quesadillas are the perfect, last-minute family dinner!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup of chives, chopped
- 1 tsp. of Mexican spice mix
- 4 Tortillas
- Cheddar
- Salt, to taste
METHOD:
- Put shredded chicken breast, tomato sauce, chives, and mexican spice mix in a bowl and mix together.
- Lay out the tortillas. Place a slice of cheddar in the center, and cover with the chicken mix.
- Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
- Enjoy!
