Ingredients
- 4 big potatoes with milk and salt
- 1 pound beef
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 cups frozen vegetables
- grated cheese
- Gravy:
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp dijon
Preparation
Step 1
cook and mash the potatoes with milk and salt
Step 2
cook ground beef, onion and garlic in deep frying pan
Step 3
push meat to the side and melt the butter, stirring in the flour to cook 1 minute
Step 4
add remaining gravy ingredients and boil mixture to thicken
Step 5
stir in vegetables and pour into 9x13. Top with potatoes and cheese on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes
A nice filling meal that feeds us twice. Can also use whatever vegetables you have in the fridge - mushrooms, carrots, zucchini, etc instead of frozen
