Ingredients
- 2 pounds of boneless chicken breast cubed
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon of ginger
- 3/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup of apple juice
- 1/3 cup of light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of kethup
- 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of soy sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a large skillet
Step 2
Add chicken pieces and cook untill browned
Step 3
Remove chicken
Step 4
Add remaining ingredients, heating over medium heat untill well mixed and dissolved
Step 5
Add chicken and bring to a hard boil
Step 6
Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes
This meal is best served with white rice and some veggies
