Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons red mullet fish
- 1 cup of potatoes
- 2 tablespoons of beet
- 2 tablespoons of sour cream
- 2 teaspoons of sunflower oil
Preparation
Step 1
Chop the potatoes and steam or boil them until they are cooked through.
Step 2
Peel the beets, dice and then cook them in a hot pan with a teaspoon of sunflower oil.
Step 3
Using a hand mixer or a small food processor, blend the potatoes and beets. Once blended, add the cream and mix again.
Step 4
In the pan that you previously used to cook the beets, add the second teaspoon of sunflower oil and pan-cook the fish for 5-6 minutes. Once cooked, remove and discard the skin.
Step 5
Shred the fish with a fork or with your fingers and add it to the puree.
Step 6
Serve warm.
You can adapt this recipe to 6+ month old babies by reducing the oil to 1 teaspoon and blending the fish in with the vegetables to obtain a smooth puree.
