Ingredients

  • Rice - 8 cup.
  • Moong Dal(Passi paruppu) - 1 cup. (dry roast till hot)
  • Channa dal(Kadala Paruppu) - 1 cup.(dry roast till hot)
  • Salt and Asafoetida.
  • Red chilli powder.
  • Butter.
  • Oil for frying

Preparation

Step 1

Grind all dals into a fine powder.

Step 2

For every 2 cups of flour, add salt and asafoetida mixed in water, red chilli powder and mix it to a smooth dough with water and 2 tablespoons butter.

Step 3

Deep fry in oil using the specific mould (mullu murukku achu).
