Soft Gingersnaps

Delicious soft chewy gingersnaps
- 1 1/2 cups butter (no substitutes), softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Additional sugar
Old Fashioned Gingerbread

Mix all ingredients together except baking soda & water
- 2 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 cup Fancy Molasses
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Shortening
- 1 1/2 tsp Ginger
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Egg
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 cup Boiling Water
- 2 tbsp Water

- 1 pkg. Gingerbread Flavor Creme Oreos, finely crushed (I used my food processor)
- 8 oz. reduced fat cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 lb. vanilla almond bark, or white candy melting disks
- 1 Tbsp vegetable shortening
- Candy coated mini chocolate chips (pick out the orange ones)
