Cream Cheese and Hazel Nuts Brownie

- 2.8 oz Chocolate bar
- 3.5 tablespoons Butter
- 4 tablespoons Granulated Sugar, divided
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 Large Egg, beaten
- 1/2 cups Hazel Nuts
- 4 oz Cream Cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Chop hazel nuts coarsely. Line 8.5 x 4.5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
Step 2
Chop chocolate bar and put into a saucepan, Add butter and 3 tablespoons granulated sugar. Heat over low heat and melt chocolate and butter stirring constantly.
Step 3
Turn off the heat, remove the saucepan from the heat and add hazel nuts and egg. Stir to blend well.
Step 4
Add all-purpose flour to the saucepan and mix well. Put the mixture into the loaf pan and set aside.
Step 5
In another saucepan, put cream cheese and 1 tablespoon granulated sugar. Heat over low heat and simmer stirring constantly until cream cheese are softened and creamy.
Step 6
Spread the cream cheese mixture on the chocolate mixture. 3 min Bale in preheated 350 degrees F oven for 20 minutes.
Step 7
Let cool on the wire rack then refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 Large bar of semisweet chocolate
- 1/2 Cup of butter
- 1/2 Cup of sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tsp. of vanilla
- 1 Cup of flour
- 1/4 Tsp. of salt
- 1/2 Tsp. of sugar
- 1/3 Cup of cocoa powder
- 16 Ferrero Rochers
METHOD
- In a bowl, combine the chocolate and butter and heat in oven for 5 minutes at 320° F (or until melted).
- Add the sugar, egg, vanilla and mix.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt, 1/2 tsp. of sugar, cocoa powder, and mix.
- Sift together the flour mixture with the chocolate mixture.
- Line a baking tray with aluminum foil, and pour in the batter. Dot with Ferrero Rochers.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 350° F.
- Remove from oven... and enjoy!
