Ingredients
- 1 cabbage
- 1 onion (optional)
- 1 carrot
- ¾ cup white sugar
- ½ cup vinegar
- ½ cup salad oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. celery salt or celery seed
Preparation
Step 1
Mix oil, vinegar, sugar and spices in pan. Heat and boil for 1 minute.
Step 2
Put cabbage and carrot through food processor, chop onion.
Step 3
Pour boiled oil mixture over slaw. Stir and put in fridge. Keeps well.
