Ingredients
- 1 tin of clams
- 1 bottle of clam juice
- 2 potatoes diced fine
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 can evaporated milk
- peas or corn if desired
Preparation
Step 1
Add enough water to clam juice to make 3 cups.
Step 2
Add potatoes and onion and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Blend flour with cold water to make a smooth paste and add to potato mixture slowly, stirring until mixture boils and thickens.
Step 4
Add seasonings and clams and reheat.
Step 5
Add the evaporated milk and butter, and peas or corn if desired, heat but do not boil.
