Ingredients
- 3-4 potatoes
- 1-2 cans minced clams
- 1 stick of butter
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 qt. milk
- 1 large carrot - diced thin

Preparation
Step 1
Boil potatoes until tender. Set aside
Step 2
in a skillet sprinkle flour and add butter.
Step 3
Stir together until butter melts
Step 4
Slowly add water from boiled potatoes stirring quickly
Step 5
Add carrots and milk and continue stirring
Step 6
Add clams and clam juice from the can.
Step 7
dice potatoes and add.
Step 8
turn heat on low and simmer until desired thickness.
Step 9
Stir often so not to scorch milk.
