Ingredients
- 1/4 C flour
- salt
- pepper
- garlic salt
- 2 LB beef cut in 1/2 in peaces
- 3 T oil
- 1 large onion
- 1 C red wine
- 2 C beef stock
- 1 T garlic
- 2 celery stalks
- 3 large potatoes
- 3 carrots
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce

Step 1
oil pan. large bowl combine salt ,pepper, garlic salt, and flour. add beef to coat. brown the beef in the pan. 3-5 min. transfer beef to separate bowl when finished.
Step 2
add additional to pan. chop onion and cook 4-5 min.Add win and cook 1 min.stir to loosen browned bits from bottom of pan. add broth, garlic, and the beef back to pan. reduce heat cook covered 45 min. Uncover and cook additional 45 min, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Add carrots, celery, potatoes, and Worcestershire sauce and cook uncovered 30 minutes longer. stirring occasionally. Makes 10 cups.
Step 4
Remove and ladel stew into bowls.

Ingredients
Dough:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- Water
Filling:
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 lb ground beef
- A pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup tomato sauce
Method
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, milk, and water in a pan, and mix until you form a dough.
- In a saucepan, heat a splash of olive oil and add the onion. Cook on medium-high until onion has softened.
- Add the ground beef, and add the salt, water, and tomato sauce. When the meat has browned, remove from heat.
- Dust a flat surface with flour, and roll out the dough into a flat sheet.
- Use a ramekin or cup to cut out circles.
- Add a dollop of beef-tomato mixture to the center of each circle.
- Pinch the dough into a little pocket.
- Bake in the oven at 350° F for 15 minutes.
