Ingredients
- 1cup margarine
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 tsp lemon flavouring
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2tblsp lime juice

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2
Mix together the first three ingredients very well
Step 3
Press the mixture into the bottom of a parchment lined rectangular baking dish
Step 4
Bake for 20 minutes or light brown
Step 5
Beat the eggs with electric mixer
Step 6
Slowly add second amount of sugar and mix well
Step 7
Add the rest of the ingredients beating well to mix thoroughly
Step 8
Pour over the baked crust
Step 9
Bake for 20 to 25 more minutes until it is set
Step 10
Let cool in the pan before cutting into squares
Store in a well sealed container in the fridge

Named for the famous ballerina Anna Pavlova, this delicate lemon pavlova is simply divine.
INGREDIENTS
- Eggs
- Confectioner's sugar
- Fresh lemon juice
- Sugar
- Flour
- Butter
- Lemon zest
METHOD
- Separate egg yolks and whites
- In a bowl, whisk egg whites
- Add confectioner's sugar
- Distribute on baking pan and flatten center lightly with a spoon
- Bake for 30 minutes at 250 degrees
- While that's baking, squeeze fresh lemon juice into a bowl
- Add egg yolks, sugar, and flour then whisk together
- Add butter and whisk again
- Take the merigues out of the oven once they're ready
- Spoon the filling into the center of the meringues
- Grate lemon rind and sprinkle the zest over the top of the pavlovas
- Serve!
