Rich and meaty chili, but made with turkey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 lbs. ground turkey
- 1 (6oz) can tomato paste, divided
- 1 medium jalapeno pepper (seeded & finely chopped)
- 3 cups chopped red onion (about 1 large)
- 1 cup chopped seeded poblano peppers
- 1 C chopped, stemmed red cherry peppers
- 3 T minced garlic
- 1 C apple cider
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 T hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 C Crushed tomatoes
- 2(14.5-ounce) cans diced fire-roasted tomatoes
- undrained
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
Christmas Treat: Cherry Snowballs

Maraschino cherries dipped in chocolate and rolled in coconut!
- - 24 Maraschino Cherries
- - 1 box semi-sweet baking chocolate
- - 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- - 1 bag unsweetened coconut
- * Note that you can substitute cherries for ju-jubes (we use red and green at Christmas). They end up tasting like the chocolate covered jellies in Bridge Mixture ~ Very yummy!

- 14 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 3/4 cup melted Butter
- 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil

- 1 cup walnuts or pecans (optional)
- 1-1/2 cups finely crushed animal cracker cookies

Super easy and decadent chocolate strawberries!
- 16oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate
- 2 tbsp Shortening (some people like to use paraffin wax)
- 1 lb Fresh Strawberries, cleaned and dried really well - with leaves on them
- 2 oz white and/or dark chocolate
- You Need:
- Toothpicks
- Double Boiler
- A large piece of Styrofoam (or new floral arrangement foam)
- Baking sheet covered in waxed paper
