- 7 ounces macaroni
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

For the Wontons 1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except the wrappers

- (1/2 lb) medium ground pork
- (1/4 lb) peeled shrimp, chopped
- (1/4 cup) canned water chestnuts, finely chopped
- 3 green onions, the white parts finely chopped and the green tops reserved
- (2 teaspoons) soy sauce

- (1 cup) water

- 2 carrots, thinly sliced on the diagonal
