Thin vermicelli noodles and tapioca pearls make this sweetened milk mixture unbearably delicious
- 1 tbsp tapioca pearls
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp oil or ghee
- 2 tbsp cashews
- 3/4 cup semiya or thin vermicelli
- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 crushed cardamom(optional)

Steamed dumplings with chili dipping sauce
- Ingredients for the dough~
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c water upto 2, enough to mix and make a smooth, pliable dough
- Ingredients for the filling~
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 red onion, diced
- 2 tsp chopped ginger
- 2 tsp sambal oelek, or fresh ground chili paste
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb ground turkey or chicken
- salt
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- Ingredients for chili dipping sauce:
- 1/4 cup tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2-3 tbsp Sriracha/Asian chili sauce

- FOR THE CAKE~
- 1 ¾ cups cake flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened at room temp
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs, room temp
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- cup buttermilk, room temp
- ¼ cup cocoa powder, plus 1 tbsp
- ¼ cup plus 2 tbsp boiling water
- FOR THE FONDANT~
- ¼ c unsalted butter, softened or as much needed
- 16 ounces/1 pound white mini-marshmallows
- 2 to 5 tablespoons water
- 2 pounds icing or powdered sugar

In the bowl of the stand mixer, place water, oil, sugar and yeast
- 1 cup plus two tbsp warm water (temp 100°F)
- 1/3 cup canola or any other neutral tasting cooking oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 cups bread flour
- 4 tbsp butter, softened

- For the cake~
- 2 cups sugar

- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 heaped tsp finely chopped ginger
- 1 tomato diced
- 2 tsp cayenne or Indian chili powder*
- 1-2 tbsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- 1 lb lean ground beef (I use 93% lean)
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Salt
- 1 c water
- ¼ c tomato ketchup
- 1 ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2-3 tbsp softened butter
