Wash the octopus well and cut into small pieces

  • 2 1/4 lbs of octopus
  •   5 tablespoons oil
  •   2 onions, chopped
  •   2 cloves of garlic
  •   1 tablespoon of ginger powder
  •   Thyme (fresh or not)
  •   Chopped parsley
  •   Coriander
  •   5 or 6 large tomatoes
  •   1 tablespoon of tomato paste.
  •   2 peppers (optional)
  •   Salt and pepper
