Frutti di Mare Seafood Pasta

This sophisticated frutti di mare seafood pasta is brimming with delicately flavored fresh shellfish on a bed of perfectly cooked al dente pasta. All you need is a crisp white wine, some crusty bread and good company to enjoy it fully!

For 4 servings:

  • 1 lb (450g) fresh mussels
  • 1 lb (450g) fresh clams
  • 2 shallots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley, stems removed, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2/3 cup (150 ml) dry white wine
  • 12 fresh prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 8 fresh scallops, rinsed and patted dry
  • 1 heaping spoon of anchovy paste
  • 1 lb (450g) spaghetti
  • 4 sun-dried tomatoes, cut into strips
  • 3 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2/3 cup (150 ml) dry white wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste
