  • 10 whole Fresh Figs
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Walnuts
  • 1 Tablespoon Raspberry Jam
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Cloves (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325ºF.

Step 2

Make 4 slits on top of each fig. In a 9×5 baking pan, arrange the figs.

Step 3

Add a little bit of raspberry jam in the center and Sprinkle walnuts in the center of each fig. Sprinkle with ground cloves if desired.

Step 4

Bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or serve as it is.

Keep an eye on the figs while baking, as they might overcook and burn easily.

METHOD:

  5. Dip each ball in egg yolk, and then roll in chopped nuts.

  6. Place on baking sheet (lined with parchment paper), and press your thumb into the center.

  7. Bake at 340°F/170°C for 12 minutes, or until golden.

  8. Remove from oven and let cool.

  9. Pour the salted caramel into the center groove,and drizzle with dark chocolate.
