Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef steak, cubed or thinly sliced
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • dash dried oregano leaves
  • 2 large white onions, sliced in rings
  • ¼ cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1½ cups water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2-3 tsp. Adobo

Preparation

Step 1

Add all ingredients to a gallon Ziplock bag or plasticware container, make sure they are mixed to distribute flavor evenly.

Step 2

Marinate 4 hours to overnight in fridge.

Step 3

Dump contents of bag/container into a heavy skillet and bring it to a boil. Cook over low heat, covered, for about 40 minutes or so.

Step 4

Enjoy with white rice...and maybe some tostones!
