Ingredients
- 1 Package cooked penne pasta
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 3 hot italian sausages
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tbs crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup 35% cream
- 2 tbs vodka
- 2 tbs parsley
Preparation
Step 1
Remove casing from sausages, break into small pieces and brown in saucepan.
Step 2
When sausage is almost browned, add in the crushed garlic and roast red pepper flakes.
Step 3
When sausage is completely browned, add in the entire can of crushed tomatoes and let simmer 15 minutes on medium heat, stirring often.
Step 4
Add in the cream and vodka, stir to mix all ingredients together, let simmer for 15 more minutes.
Step 5
Serve sauce over penne or any pasta desired, garnish with parsley.
It's easier to remove the casings off sausages that are thawed!
