Ingredients

  • 1 sweet onion diced
  • 5 stalks celery diced
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/4 C flour
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/2 t pepper
  • 10 potatoes diced
  • 8 C water
  • 1/2 quart bag of clams
  • 1/4 C diced bacon
  • 2 C half and half, whole milk, or cream

Preparation

Step 1

Sautee onion and celery in butter till soft.

Step 2

Add flour, salt and pepper and mix.

Step 3

Add water, potatoes, clams, and bacon.

Step 4

Cook until potatoes are tender.

Step 5

Add in half n half and heat through.
