This banana bread is heavy and moist, just the way banana bread should be. Absolutely delicious.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg well beaten
- 3 bananas
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp sour cream

Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening and brown sugar.
Add vanilla, egg and banana.
Mix well.
Step 2
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to banana mix alternately with sour cream. Mix well.
Step 3
Pour in greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes
