Ingredients

  • 3 - 4lbs. Boneless pork should roast or picnic shoulder
  • 1 package Onion_ soup mix
  • 1 bottle Beer
  • ¼ C. Cornstarch
  • ¼ C. Water

Preparation

Step 1

Trim excess fat and place roast in slow cooker

Step 2

Rub soup mix over roast

Step 3

Pour beer on top

Step 4

Cover and cook at HI for 8 – 10 hours or LOW for 10 – 12 hours

Step 5

Turn halfway through cooking

Step 6

Remove to a platter and keep warm

Step 7

Leave cooker on HI

Step 8

In a cup, whisk cornstarch and water until smooth

Step 9

Whisk liquid into slow cooker and stir till thick ( 5- 8 minutes). Season to taste.

Step 10

Slice meat and serve with gravy
