Creamy Portuguese Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken
  • 2level tsp robertsons chicken spice, 1full tsp coarse red
  • chillies,
  • salt,
  • 1tsp fine jeeroo,
  • 1tblsp lemon juice,
  • 1tsp crushed garlic.

Preparation

Step 1

Marinate chicken in the above.

Step 2

Cook chicken on butter/ghee until most of the water evaporates.

Step 3

Sauce:
1 tub fresh cream,
1/4 cup nandos garlic peri sauce or any garlic portuguese sauce,
1tblsp lemon juice,
1/4tsp parsely,
1tblsp tomato paste.

Mix all the sauce ingredients together in a bowl.

Step 4

Add the sauce to the pot an allow it to come to a boil, lower the heat and let it simmer; until sauce thickens and chicken is fully cooked.

Step 5

Serve with rice and salad.
