Baby's First Christmas Dinner

A festively nutritious recipe for your baby's very first Christmas dinner
Appropriate for babies six to twelve months
Ingredients
- main
- 1 (medium-sized) potato
- 1 (medium-sized) carrot
- 1 (medium sized) parsnip
- 2 broccoli florets
- 1 (large thinly sliced) piece of turkey breast
- 1 knob (cube) of butter
- 1 teaspoon of your homemade cranberry sauce
- gravy
- 1 teaspoon of arrowroot
- 1 cup of your homemade turkey stock
- 1/2 teaspoon of tomato puree
- * be sure to not use store bought stock that has a high sodium/salt content or to salt your vegetables

Preparation
Step 1
peel and thinly dice the potato, carrot, parsnip
cook in a small pan of boiling water for ten minutes
add the broccoli and cook for five more minutes
Step 2
after draining the vegetables place them back into the pan
add the butter and mash the vegetables until a tender and soft texture is achieved
Step 3
blend the turkey in the food processor with water or homemade turkey stock
add in the vegetable mixtures and puree until a smooth texture is achieved
Step 4
gravy
add the the homemade turkey stock with arrowroot in a small sauce pan on a medium heat
stir the sauce as it thickens
add in the tomato puree to achieve additional flavour

These quick and easy chicken quesadillas are the perfect, last-minute family dinner!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup of chives, chopped
- 1 tsp. of Mexican spice mix
- 4 Tortillas
- Cheddar
- Salt, to taste
METHOD:
- Put shredded chicken breast, tomato sauce, chives, and mexican spice mix in a bowl and mix together.
- Lay out the tortillas. Place a slice of cheddar in the center, and cover with the chicken mix.
- Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
