- Preheat over to 350
- Crust:
- 2 1/2c all purpose flour
- 1 1/4t salt
- 1/4c chilled lard
- 6T chilled butter
- 7-10T cold water
- Center:
- 2 large gala apple, peeled and diced (no larger than 1/2")
- 2 large granny smith apple, peeled and diced (no larger than 1/2")
- 1/2c sugar
- 2T all purpose flour
- 1/2t ground cinnamon
- a dash salt
- Topping:
- 2T melted butter
- 2T sugar
