- 1 15 ounce can red kidney beans
- 1 15 ounce can cannellini beans
- 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
- 24 ounces V8 juice
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- hot sauce if desired
- 1 box ditalini pasta
- grated Parmesan or Romano cheese for topping
