Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp Bourbon Smoked Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Bourbon Smoked Salt
  • Topping ingredients
  • 1 TBS baking soda
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Bourbon Smoked Salt
  • 4 TBS unsalted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Knead all of the dough ingredients until the dough is soft and not sticky (5 minutes). Let rise for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 450.

Step 2

Cut dough into 12 pieces and roll out into long strands. Make a loop at one end of the strand, and feed the other end through the loop to make a pretzel shape.

Step 3

Microwave the baking soda and 1/2 cup water for 1 minute. Dip each pretzel in the baking soda and water mixture. Sprinkle each pretzel with Bourbon Smoked Salt. Bake for 8 minutes. Brush each pretzels with butter and enjoy while hot!
