Grandma's Homemade Noodles

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs, whipped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • milk
  • 3-5 cups chicken or turkey broth
  • 1 cup water
  • salt and pepper

Details

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, blend flour, eggs, and salt. Add a couple of tablespoons of milk at a time, stirring with a fork, to make a really stiff dough.

Step 2

Roll dough with a rolling pin on a floured board. Flip dough and roll. Continue flipping and rolling out until thin. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut dough into thin strips.

Step 3

Add 3-5 cups of chicken or turkey broth diluted with approximately 1 cup of water. Water is just to bring up the level. Use mostly broth. Bring broth and water to a rolling boil.

Step 4

Add noodles and stir continuously until tender.
