Garlic Biscuts

Ingredients
- 2C Flour
- 1T Baking Powder
- 1t Salt
- 1T Sugar
- 1/3 C Shortening
- 1C Milk
- 1/2 sitck butter
- 1T Minced Garlic
- 1t Parsley

Step 1
Preheat oven to 425
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in the shortening until the mix resembles coarse meal. Slowly add in the milk.
Step 3
Knead dough on a floured surface. Roll out to 1" thick. Cut with a biscuit cutter*. Place on cookie sheet.
Step 4
Melt your butter with the garlic and parsley then brush over the top of the biscuits.
Bake 12-15 minutes, or until they start to turn golden brown.
*Don't have a biscuit cutter? Use a glass, cookie cutter, or a clean can dipped in flour.
For added flavor, I like to also throw in a cup of grated cheddar cheese to the dough...because, well, sometimes you just need cheese
