"Breaking Bad" series' creator, Vince Gilligan, just dropped a major bomb, announcing that the restaurant "Los Pollos Hermanos," which comes from the show, is planning on opening its doors in real life! It's one of those rare occasions when fiction could actually become reality.
According to Vince Gilligan, it was at a Sony convention that the idea of creating the fictional chain restaurant "Los Pollos Hermanos" was born. A businessman took a special interest in the plan, given the series' major fan following.
Just imagine, this fake temple of fried chicken will soon be a place where you can taste and share its delicious dishes, seen time and again throughout the entire series.
If and when it does open, it will remain an American franchise for the moment (much to the disappointment of the show's international fans...). The rest of the world will just have to wait for it to become a global phenomenon, like its predecessors McDonald's and Burger King.
