Your love of food

Men love skinny girls, and girls who exercise portion control and always leave a bit on their plate right? Well, actually no. Most men prefer a woman with whom they can truly enjoy a meal, dessert and all, and can feel self-conscious or judged for eating a huge hamburger and fries when you are just picking at a salad. So ladies, if you love food and have a big appetite, let it show! Your passion for food and enjoyment of the good things in life makes you fun to b around, you totally irresistible to him. 

Your sassy nature

He loves the faces you make when you're annoyed, the way you sigh when he forgets to lock the house, or steals the duvet on a winter night, that you aren't afraid of complaining about bad service, or reprimanding queue-jumpers. He loves your sassy side, and quite possible gets a kick out of provoking you a little bit.  You might wish you were more tolerant or slow to anger, but he likes these little tics because they show that you know what you want, and are confident enough to stand up for it. Besides, who wants to be with a woman who always says yes and never has an opinion? 

Being a little jealous

You can't help but make a snide remark when he wants go spend another night with the boys, (the second this week!) Or narrow your eyes when you see a girl talking to him at a bar. Or get impatient when he can't 100% commit to a weekend away in 3 months time. You know you should be more easy-going, but did you know that he loves knowing you care about him this much? This key here is balance. Too much jealousy and you are veering into psycho-controlling girlfriend territory, but not enough and you can give the impression that you couldn't care less what he does. In the language of your couple, a bit of jealous could be just as clear as saying "I love you!"

Begin a bit of a wuss

Afraid of the dark, spiders and horror films? There is no point trying to impress him by pretending to be fearless. These fears may seem a bit silly and irrational but the truth is, they give him plenty of opportunities to comfort you, shelter you and basically be the macho man around the house. If you are a powerful, independent woman (go girl!) you may find this hard to accept, but showing your weaknesses does not make you weak. 

Perfectly imperfect
