97% of CAT OWNERS admit to doing this one thing...

According to a study conducted in France, 97% of cat owners admit to talking to their cat about the weather, their daily trials and tribulations and the future plans. 

The frequency at which owners ask their cats "Are you the most beautiful muffin in the world? Are you?" were not tested.

Ok, finding out that 97% of pet owners talk to their pets is not really that surprising, but the study which focused mostly on people under the ages of 35 did reveal some other, very interesting habits among pet owners: 

• 51% of people surveyed preferred to spend time with their dog or cat than their friends.
• A remarkable 25% of the women in the study admitted that they spent more time with their pet than with their Significant Other. 
• 37% of pet owners greet their pet before anybody else when they get home.
• 15% or respondents even admitted to kissing their animals before their own children...
• and 29% of them said they were happier to see their pet in the evening than their own children!
