If you are in the dark about bone marrow's incredible benefits, then this article is for you!

What is bone marrow?

Let's start at the beginning: what is bone marrow?

It is the whitish fat substance with a gelatinous texture, which is found inside the bones of animals (yes, ours too).

Why is bone marrow good for me?

And what's so special? Because marrow contains vitamins (A, E, D and K), iron, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and zinc. It is also full of contains essential fatty acids that are quite hard to find elsewhere, specifically decosahexaenoic (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic (EPA), which promote brain development and the maintenance of good cognitive health, preventing dementia, vision problems and depression, as well as some cardiovascular diseases and certain cancers.

As if this were not enough, bone marrow also contains algal glycerol, very important fats for the creation of white blood cells that ensure the proper functioning of our our immune system.
