House looking dull? This will make all the difference.

Tile floors have a tendency to collect dust and dirt (especially the grouting), and over time start to look dark and dingy. If you want to restore brightness and beauty to your home, start by giving your floors a little TLC... You'll be surprised at how much fresher your space will feel!
Clear Away Surface Dirt
First things first: clear the floor surface of any dirt and debris. Sweep or vacuum the area, so that it's ready for a good scrub.
Hot Vinegar
Fill a bucket with equal parts very hot water and white vinegar. Dip your mop in the vinegar bucket, and mop the floor as usual — side to side, then up and down — making sure to get in the grout lines. Then, wring out the mop thoroughly and repeat with a bucket of clean water. Wipe down with a towel and give your newly-cleaned floor plenty of time to dry before walking on it.
Baking Soda
If the grouting between tiles is dirty (grout is porous and can absorb dirt and grease), then a little scrubbing may be necessary. Mix some baking soda with water to make a paste, and apply it to the grout and leave for an hour. Then, scrub with a nylon brush and tidy up with a damp cloth. Baking soda is a mild abrasive, so this process should remove any stubborn grime.
