Oysters

Let's just say they're not for everyone, but we love them and France boasts some of the best in the world.

Usually served with a wedge of lemon and crusty white bread, or butter and parsley, they're the perfect appetizer at a Christmas of New Year gathering, but also throughout the summer in regions such as Brittany which is famous for its produce of local seafood. In cities and towns of the region, such as Cancalle, little markets are set up daily where you can buy them to enjoy sat on the beach with a glass of ice cold white wine. The French dream!
